I helped shaped the app to function as the true “digital sous chef,” providing guidance, real-time monitoring, and intelligent assistance throughout the cooking process. The immersed experiences that balance automation with user freedom, so users can confidently multitask while the system monitors cooking in the background.

Finding the Voice

I had the pleasure to join June in the smart cooking industry and I was charged with defining the app’s voice. I developed the visual and illustrative language for the New User Experience. Below are the illustrations I produced for the New User onboarding flow, followed by the user flow documentation for the experience.

Illustrations can speak more to the brand’s curiosity and personality. The style in this exploration was to search for a voice that speaks to the attributes of the brand. June’s attributes has always been bringing joy to cooking.
