I’ve been challenging myself in the space of a seller. Tackling tasks such as setting up payment portals, email lists, inventory, wholesale, margins, etc. All of which are so hard to start, but can be so much easier. Check out my other passion angelaianstudio.com

As well, My passion for 3D in blender has grown tremendously, and it’s been a joy to use AI + 3D + UX to incorporate in my day to day design practices.

 

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

I approach design two ways: simplify and delight. Simplify means stripping ideas to their essential core where they make sense. Delight means creating awe and surprise—a twinkle that makes you wonder “what’s next.” Good design teaches, provokes feeling, and the process can be as beautiful as the result.

  • Led next-generation in-vehicle UX for autonomous platforms, including ES8 2.0 NIO Pilot.

  • Redesigned cluster, center console, and HUD interfaces for advanced driver assistance and Level 4/5 autonomy.

  • Defined system-wide visual language and brand-driven in-car experience architecture.

Sr. Product Designer - Smart Watch

Within one year, the team I was on at Pebble reimagined the entire broke the Kickstarter record at over $20 million received the Pen award, and refreshed the entire brand. As we started redefining Pebble, my role as the Sr. Visual Designer became an over arching bridge between product, brand and marketing.

My responsibilities included:
Product: System UI, Global System Visual Consistency, Apps Design
Brand: Logo Design, look and feel, visual consistency
Packaging: Box, Labels, Structure, Print Quality checks
Marketing: Web Design, Email Marketing, Advertisements, Trade Displays, Campaigns

HP WEBOS

Senior Visual Designer

It’s a rare and challenging opportunity to be given the chance to reboot a system UI and globally refresh the look and feel of every element. As HP was trying to redefine itself and standout from the crowd, my team strategized to relaunch what WebOS could be. Two things happened simultaneously:, one was to redefine the operating system and create another line of HP laptops powered by WebOS, and the other was to create a style uniquely WebOS.

It was an intense battle to convince upper management to refresh the visual style of the Nokia OS. Our R&D team not only tried and succeeded in integrating a few new functions to the mobile experience, but we also rebooted the style from start to finish.
